Started In Alexandria, Alabama, Cutter's was started in 2019 by a family with a strong commitment to community and a purpose of delivering new, delicious pizza. We are proud to have stayed here, grown here, and contributed back to our community for over 5 generations.
With overwhelming community support, we have expanded to a second location in Oxford, Alabama and began catering for local events. With five years in business, we have been able to donate and give nonprofit pizzas away to the tune of over $25,000.
Constantly striving to make a positive impact with events, sponsorships, partnerships, and supporting other local, small businesses and nonprofits, we believe putting our community and partners at the center of our business model is the way to grow our business and contribute continuously.
Our team is the biggest asset we have as a company. We work diligently to create a safe, positive, and productive work environment that is open to change, responsive, and empathetic.
As a company, we have committed to a minimum wage $2 higher than the state minimum wage, ensure 100% of our staff have health insurance, Paid Time Off, Mental Health Resources, and Unlimited Requests Off. We have plans to increase our minimum wage to $11 by 2024. We have offered scholarships to college students and with the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce our staff get 20% off for Jacksonville State University Student tuition.
Our 2022 Annual Anonymous Team Survey brought back a 4.5/5 satisfaction with their job, 4.7/5 rating of management, 4.1/5 rating of pay, and 4.5/5 rating of being comfortable giving honest feedback to management. We think this points to success of our management style.
